Case study Perry

Perry Slingsby Systems are a multi national Subsea Engineering Co. and part of the Worldwide Triton group. They were commissioned by The Chinese Navy to design and build a rescue submersible, capable of depths up to 700m whilst being large enough to rescue 18 crew members of a stricken submarine.

From an Engineering perspective this was a highly complex project to undertake.
Linmech were commissioned to assist in the design and detail of certain areas of the sub, including Hatch design and relevant safety systems. Linmech were able to slot seamlessly into PSSL’s 3D CAD system as well as utilise the benefits of their electronic drawing control system.
